Center Brook Civil War Encampment

We’re inviting both civilian and military reenactors to join us at Center Brook Manor in Northeast Ohio—a historic property once owned by a recruiting lieutenant in the 7th Ohio Infantry—for our third annual living history event. This low-key weekend is centered on sharing knowledge and engaging with the public in a welcoming, authentic setting.

This event will emphasize educational programming, including opportunities to connect with homeschool groups and local history classes in an interactive and approachable way. Planned features include artillery demonstrations and a battlefield hospital impression to help visitors better understand the realities of the era.

Whether you portray a soldier in camp, a civilian on the home front, or demonstrate a specific trade or skill, your participation helps bring history to life in ways books simply can’t.

Expect a laid-back atmosphere, thoughtful interpretation, and plenty of time for conversation, collaboration, and camaraderie.
