Experience an unforgettable Civil War Reenactment at Hartford City Civil War Days
- Student Discovery Day is on Friday and students are free to move throughout the grounds listening to presentations and get a glimpse of life during the Civil War.
- Enjoy many quality presenters like President Lincoln, President Davis, Gen. Wallace, Gen. Lee, the Blacksmith, the Spinner, and of course, all the military encampments plus much more.
- Walk through a Civil War village where one can purchase an ice cold Root Beer from the Saloon along with a snack and a jail where ruffians or deserters may find themselves behind bars.
- Reenactors, come prepared and dressed to impress!! We have a Clothing Competition on Saturday afternoon and a Ball Gown competition on Saturday evening at the Military Ball.
- What reenactment would be complete without the sights, sounds, and smells of battle. There is a skirmish on Friday afternoon and battle reenactments on Saturday and Sunday.
