Student Discovery Day is on Friday and students are free to move throughout the grounds listening to presentations and get a glimpse of life during the Civil War.
Enjoy many quality presenters like President Lincoln, President Davis, Gen. Wallace, Gen. Lee, the Blacksmith, the Spinner, and of course, all the military encampments plus much more.
Walk through a Civil War village where one can purchase an ice cold Root Beer from the Saloon along with a snack and a jail where ruffians or deserters may find themselves behind bars.
Reenactors, come prepared and dressed to impress!! We have a Clothing Competition on Saturday afternoon and a Ball Gown competition on Saturday evening at the Military Ball.
What reenactment would be complete without the sights, sounds, and smells of battle. There is a skirmish on Friday afternoon and battle reenactments on Saturday and Sunday.
