Fort Pocahontas Reenactment

Located between Richmond and Williamsburg on the James River, scenic Fort Pocahontas is the site of the May 24, 1864 Action in which United States Colored Troops defended the fort they built against an assault by Fitzhugh Lee’s Confederate Cavalry.

• 10-4 Saturday and 10-3 Sunday:
• Battle reenactments both days.
