A two-day Battle and Living History Civil War Reenactment Event, taking place on the grounds of an actual Civil War era Stone Fort.
This two-day Battle and Living History Event will be taking place on the grounds of a real Civil War era stone fort - very similar to the style of many Carolinian Forts. On the first day of battle we will be portraying the Battle of Fort Macon in North Carolina, while on Sunday we will be portraying the Storming of Battery Wagner - our very own 54th Mass Co. A and their brothers from Washington in Co. B will help us to authentically portray the action. This event will begin in earnest on Saturday at 9 AM, and close on Sunday around 2 PM. The two days will be packed with two battles, visits from President Lincoln + Frederick Douglass and performances by two Civil War era Stringbands…
