Props and Pistons Festival

This incredible air show is an event you won't want to miss! You'll be able to see some of the most daring pilots and amazing aircraft displays. It's a day filled with thrills and excitement for both adults and children alike.

At the Props and Pistons festival you can get up close and personal with some of the world's largest planes from World War II planes to modern marvels. Enjoy watching live performances from experienced aerobatic pilots as they soar through the sky. Get an inside look at all kinds of aircraft including helicopters, biplanes, gliders, seaplanes and more.

This family-friendly event also includes several activities for kids that can keep them entertained throughout the day. Kids will love getting up close to these magnificent flying machines including rides on vintage open-cockpit planes or exploring a giant inflatable hangar bounce house. There are also lots of food vendors where you can grab something tasty while enjoying the show.

The Props and Pistons Festival is a unique experience that's perfect for aviation enthusiasts or anyone looking for a fun time. Don't forget, all airplane rides are first come first serve so make sure to show up early to get your seat!

The Props and Pistons Festival is a family-friendly, fun day at the airport.  There are many STEM related activities and excitement for all ages.  This event will have numerous military aircraft from the WWII era to the present.  These aircraft include a TBM Avenger, Boeing Stearman, T-6, C-53, C-123 Provider, A-10 Thunderbolt, T-28, T-34, C-17, and many more.  There will also be historical military non-flying displays, including the Marlboro Volunteers and Wright Stuff Squadron.  The event includes an airshow, a car show (Saturday only), a bike show (Sunday only), local food trucks, a kids zone, and a Veteran's Remembrance Ceremony (Sunday only).  Join us for a fun-filled weekend!
