The Fort Meigs Historic site in Ohio is a must-see destination if you are looking to explore the history and culture of the War of 1812. Located on the banks of the Maumee River in Perrysburg, Ohio, this historic site features an amazing replica fort of the one built by General William Henry Harrison where visitors can take a tour, learn about various military strategies used during this period, and appreciate the incredible architectural accomplishments of early 19th century Americans.
