About the Event
The 6th PA and many other members of the Mid-Atlantic Division of the Continental Line will be in the heart of our Colonial Capital on from July 2nd through Independence Day. Living historians will be encamped on the front lawn of the National Constitution Center, opposite Independence Hall. Soldiers of George Washington's Continental Army will march and drill on the grounds, while other Living Historians demonstrate life in the 18th Century. There will be Continental Marines, Clothing suttlers, and a surgeon well-versed in the Theory and Practice of 18th century medicine, and familiar with the cutting edge technology of the time. There will also be musket drills for kids using 3/4 side wooden cutouts The event is free to the public.
