This encampment honors Confederate Senator Landon Carter Haynes, who once called this very site home, offering visitors a unique opportunity to explore 19th-century life in an authentic setting.
The Tipton-Haynes State Historic Site in Tennessee is a preserved 18th-century homestead with deep ties to early American history and the Civil War.
