Details
A cannon fires, sending out a loud blast and a cloud of smoke. The sound echoes like thunder, signaling that the battle has begun. Soldiers appear from the trees and begin to fire. More troops arrive, and soon the gunfire is steady. Smoke slowly covers the field, making the soldiers look like shadows in the mist. The cannon fires again, joining the steady crack of muskets and rifles. As you watch, it becomes easier to imagine what combat looked and felt like in the 18th century.
