The event will feature both Union and Confederate reenactors. You'll have a front-row seat to witness authentic uniforms, authentic equipment, and thrilling demonstrations of combat maneuvers. You'll also get to meet members of local historical societies and hear stories from numerous living history enthusiasts; walk the actual battlefield; and see infantry, artillery, and medical demonstrations.

And there's more! We'll have an array of period items on display, as well as artifacts from the battlefield itself. You can explore a living-history camp with tents, cooking equipment, and other Civil War artifacts. Learn about trends in fashion during that era and see how food was cooked for troops on campaign trails.

Don't miss out on this one-of-a-kind experience! This is a great opportunity to experience first hand what it was like for soldiers fighting in one of America’s most pivotal battles — so don't wait! See you there!

This event is hosted by the 2nd Maryland Artillery CS. Monterey Pass was fought on July 4th to 5th when Union cavalry attacked Confederate wagon trains retreating from Gettysburg. The battle was fought in a driving rain storm. Approximately 1,500 prisoners were taken. Most of the Confederate prisoners were wounded.

Artillery, Infantry, and Medical demonstrations daily. Opportunity for evening picket line scenario.
